Biomedical Science in the UK

UK biomedical science programmes are accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and combine deep training in human biology, physiology, immunology, and laboratory-based diagnostic science. Jisr supports applicants targeting BSc, MSci, and MSc routes at research-intensive UK universities, including programmes that lead toward clinical, pharmaceutical, and research careers.

Entry Requirements at a Glance

AAB to AAA at A-level (e.g. AAB at Birmingham, AAA at Imperial / King's College London), typically including Chemistry and/or Biology. IELTS ~6.0–6.5 overall. Saudi applicants: Thanawiyya (Scientific or relevant track) is typically combined with an International Foundation Year, or A-level / IB equivalents in the relevant subjects, depending on the specific university's entry route.
